She absolutely loves it and she loves the fish because she says they keep her company while she’s working in the office. Not that they talk or anything but they’re nice to look at she says and she also mentioned that the sounds the fish tank and filter make are really relaxing for her.

It’s a really cool fish tank… I wish I could post a pic but I just don’t know how yet but once I figure this blogging platform up I’ll definitely get a picture up of Jed the fish. Yup Susan named the fish Jed…

Back to the fish tank. It’s made of somewhat dark blue glass and I filled the bottom of the tank with that blue marble stuff so the fish tank has a really like dark midnight blue look to it which just so happens to be Susan’s favorite color. she’s really into the dark blues I remember her telling me once particularly midnight blue;-)

The fish tank has done wonders for her mood and our relationship. I don’t think it’s so much the fish tank as the fact that I did something out of the blue tro try and ease her situation. I guess I gotta start dong more of that stuff…

We’re not exactly in a position where I can afford to pay for the MLB DirecTV baseball package so I think I’m kinda up the river on this one. So I feel like my Dodger loyalty is at stake here but I’ve been watching some Padres games just to get my baseball fix. I mean it is just about to be Summer and that means baseball more then anything if you ask me.

Meanwhile the Dodgers are looking ok this year but the owners, the McCourts, are going through that whole divorce thing and most pundits are saying that the Dodgers won’t have any money to spend on free agents. Well I mean it was pretty apparent that the Dodgers didn’t have any money to spend because they literally didn’t sign any free agents.

I’ve been getting my Dodger updates by following them online, listening to some games on radio and watching highlights on ESPN at night. It’s actually been kinda cool because I have a lot of extra time for other stuff which Susan is pretty happy about.

Last month susan’s brother in law moved down here so now we even have some relatives down here with us which is very cool. We’ve already had a couple of bbq’s together and a couple of dinner parties so things are going quite nicely and Susan seems to be a lot happier even though school is stressing her out big time.

Speaking of Susan… the girl is starting to drop all kinds of hints about wanting to get married and havig a kid together and all that stuff and it’s really starting to stress me out…

Not that I don’t want any of that stuff but it’s just stressful to think about it and all of the responsibilities that come along with it you know? That and we’re having a tough enough time right now just trying to keep this place looking decent and spending time with each other.

She’s got my parents and everyone else in on it now also. We had the “talk” the other day and I guess I gave her the ok to talk to everybody about it so I guess I only have myself to blame…

Emphasis on the word “trying”

Now that I’m living with Susan we had to spend time with both sets of parents during the holidays and that proved to be pretty tiresome. We were back and forth from San Diego, Palm Springs and Los Angeles I don’t know how many times and I’m absolutely sick of driving now. If I don’t see another freeway again it’ll be too soon.

My new NFL team the Chargers got eliminated from the playoffs but it was fun watching them and getting acquainted with the players and such. I really like their young QB Phillip Rivers.

I guess the one thing that sucks about San Diego is that there’s no NBA team down here. I’ve decided to continue following the Los Angeles Lakers…

The one thing I have not decided on is what to do when baseball season comes around…

I’ve been a loooong time fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and I’ve also been a hater of the San Diego Padres. With the Chargers it was easy to “fan” them because there was no NFL team in LA but there is a baseball team and it just so happens to be the team I grew up watching.

I’m pretty torn up over this one…

On another note: “Happy Holidays”

Susan and I are very happy out here in San Diego. It really looks like we’re going to enjoy the rest of our lives down here and personally I can really see it happening.

San Diego is great. There’s a lot to do out here and the weather is great! I’m still trying to learn a little about our local sports teams the San Diego Chargers and the Padres but I’m thrilled that I have a couple of teams to now follow.

Susan is still getting settled in and like I said she probably won’t be posting much here. She’s trying to get ready for school next semester when she’ll be attending San Diego Sate. She;s trying to get all her classes in order right now so we’ll see how that goes.

Things are great here we’re really happy here and thanks for everybody that sent us a Holiday card!

So many things going on right now it being the middle of March and all. March Madness will be starting tomorrow and I’m in the process of filling out a few brackets. Spring training is in full swing for baseball and I’m really hoping the Padres get their act together this year and improve on last season.  And of course the Chargers finally let go LT which they should’ve done last season and maybe not have thrown this past season down the drain…

Susan just transferred into San Diego State so to all of her friends I wouldn’t plan on seeing her post here to often but I’ll try to keep you guys posted on everything going on with her here.
